Just got back from SC Online Church. (I ran out of tissues!)
Will head on to CLG and finish up the rest of the Home Page design. Been praying for guidance on the design too.
Anybody who wants to watch at LC, remember that if the schedule time is 5:30, example, add 30 minutes, that’s when the actual sermon starts (after all the music and commercials). Then that’s when you can watch the sermon + movie – go full screen. It lasts for 40 minutes.
Anybody who wants to watch at SC, just check their schedule on the “Schedule” tab.
I am just a guest in both churches.
ALSO, if any one of you feels so inclined, you can “type out” the message at LC, and then email it to the LC church, so the Prayer Hosts might be able to use it for when a Hearing Impaired person visits the Online Church.
Any Prayer Host can go One on One with the Hearing Impaired Guest and then just copy paste the sermon, so that they can hear / see the message too.
Since that same service will be replayed about 60+ times during the week, they can put that “text document” for ANY Prayer Host to use.
That is only for the duration of the message series, because of copyright issues.
Also, other sermons are on YT, so there, they have the Closed Captions.

God is in control of everything – and HE will purge us from all unrighteousness, if we just stay “open” for the cleansing process that He wants to bring to all of His children.
It’s a daily, hourly walk, less of us, and more of HIM!

It struck me as a “well orchestrated” presentation, so it surely does have a script on a teleprompter. Like in television or movies.
Maybe you can suggest for that script to be shared with their “Hosts”, that way, it will be more precise and exactly what the pastor said.

Let’s just talk here for this session. I still have not figured out the lost “needle” codes on the chat. I don’t know which updates caused that. It was Working perfectly before. Each chat message triggers an error message, so I would have to go to the error logs each time to clear it.
Which means for me, to not use it for now. Tough for me to keep focus, so I plan on “One at a time”.

The toxicity of negative thoughts come when I am doing something that would be useful.
I feel like I am consistently getting shot at, and I fall down and I rise back up and fall down again.
So these people doing hackathons at me, they’ll have a day of reckoning with the Lord.
Just like I will if I do not get to finish what I have been tasked to finish. In my life time. 🙂

I think that the “moderation” here works great. The admins just have to be on the backend refreshing the page constantly.
On the chat, once a user goes through and passes the initial registration process, they can post anything on the chat box itself.
Also, please consider creating another portal specifically for the public. Or specific groups. Don’t merge it with central websites. (Like what you did for your Disaster Assistance Response Team before for training).

My experience with that (creating specific portals for specific groups) is easy (for me) however it’s not easy for people to actually visit and figure out. I had to write a “How To tutorial first”, which is not even a guarantee that it will work. (In informatician speak, there are a lot of factors in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and entirely different sub-scientific field in Biomedical Informatics – calculating a human’s Cartesian Product, based on a Usergroups Cognitive Capacity, Domain Area of Knowledge, etc. etc. Websites like the Tech Giants social media sites have mastered the psychology of how this works and how to design portals that would be suitable for every type of user group – like the technical infrastructure and software that’s behind a Bank’s ATM for example – simple, do this, then that. There are a lot of Data Scientists that now drill those down, so they write what’s needed to have “the bottom line of marketing, which is, how to transfer their customer’s money from the customer’s bank account, to the company, business, or organization’s bank accounts.”
It’s creepy once you figure it out. A lot of people are going “online with their online giving and donations.”
There are layers upon layers of snoopathons that take place. Plus a piece of the donation pie.
So try researching the “silent behind the scenes companies that are handling those donations, there are these tech companies who take advantage of the “goodwill and trust” of the church goers and givers.
Then we wonder “how some other company got our contact details.”
The Disaster Assistance Team, it was easy because we were “all around” techies too, we just all decided to share pics and videos but it was too many, and not all of us were/are active on social media. Also we have contractual NDAs on what we can and cannot post on social media. That was why I created that portal. The goal was just to serve as a temporary repository for the media files for a small group of about 17 people. Since we all didn’t want to clog anybody’s email servers, if we attached those big files to our emails. Once they viewed and got it, I brought the portal down. It was at CLG. I replaced those links now with – I took those webpages down and really kept everything private. That was before I met the Signal App. Now it’s all Signal App. 🙂

If I created another portal, then it will be again about “Who created this? Who developed this?”
Then the next question …
“What’s the agenda?”
“Are they asking for donations? Give give give? Tithe donate, don’t rob God getting parroted all over again? Or with advertisements and trackers following you around the interweb?”
CLG is NOT any of that.
In my own personal search (and I am a researcher!), I couldn’t find such a portal of JUST that.
Pure unadulterated scripture with no strings attached.
No, I don’t have to give any developer or marketer my email address so that it will get pounded with “emails that says donate donate donate. We’re spreading God’s words via email so donate donate donate. We put a website up so donate donate donate”
I paid huge amount of money studying online marketing and social media marketing and autoresponders and trackers. These organizations gather email addresses, and then it’s grouped into a list, a mailing list.
Then the email messages get scheduled, on when it is actually sent out. Or “blasted”.
Whomever developer gets tasked with scheduling the “email blasts” can actually see who among the people in the list, actually opened the email, how many times they opened it, if they clicked any link in the email, etc.” They can use the “name” of whomever is the head of the organization.
So even that are usually outsourced, it’s very seldom that it is ACTUALLY the person on the “From” who actually schedule the mail outs. They may have written the text, but if you reply to that email message, that would go a hireling. Or an assistant. Filtered.
There is that thing too about “NLP” – Neuro Linguistic Programming that some marketers, or most marketers these days use.
It’s almost like hypnosis. That’s how they get people in a “buying trance”, it’s disgusting.
Targeting people at their weakest moments.
So when I share those types of ugly truths with people, I get hated for rocking the boat. But it’s meant to open people’s eyes.
“Narrow and wide are the gates that lead to destruction.”
So we can use any opportunity to share the truth however way we can. Open your eyes.
It just might help people to actually “observe” and see and notice, “am I going to the right place where I can learn the truth?”
“Or am I just going to be used to advocate an agenda of an organization to squeeze money out of people needing help from God? ”
“And then providing that organization with my FREE labor, as they do that?”
Nope.
I don’t want to get recruited anymore so people can use the tech skills or any other skills that God gave me to further some organization’s agenda.
Jesus said SPREAD THE GOSPELS.
That’s number one.
So people can see and know who truly is the NUMBER ONE in this world.
The Alpha and the Omega.
Lord GOD, Jesus Christ.
And I will share CLG with other Fellow Believers in Christ.
The Index of the Stories in the bible IS the perfect Bible Plan.
No APP should tell people what to read.
What ever happened to the Holy Spirit who GUIDES people on what to study and read in the bible?
That’s the Holy Spirit’s job, not any developers job to intervene, between the Word of God and the one trying to study His word.
