The URL link to the resume displays the Applicant’s resume, the pdf’s file name is automatically changed to Applicants Full Name, then _ resume. Then HR downloads it.
I think this Simple Job App is okay to keep or use. The devs also have upgrades that you can purchase, if you want any bells and whistles. But on it’s own, this can work for simple positions and also for companies that only have a few available jobs to post.

Yes, it all gets pooled into an applicant database. The bells and whistles, an employer or recruiter, can tag an applicant, if they use third party software.
The danger there is HOW these third party software uses the INFO and DATA of the applicants.
For me personally, I always suggest that an HR Contact Form (it’s all basically a contact form with different fields) BE HOUSED from within the company’s database, and not a paid third party site.
Like this one we are testing, the DATA is kept within our servers. Safer for the applicants.
The previous job app we tested is for ANYBODY to be able to post a job or project.
This one is just for a company with a website. They can have their own Job App. (Without having to spend extra anymore for other “websites” and then all they have are a “subdomain” and then the FROM email, comes from the third party site.)
That’s why even the Ticket Systems, We have that on a specific site, so that the client can see the FROM email address comes from the company itself, providing the Support.
I never got it why companies would pay for external companies that handle their ticket system or their HR process. It’s dangerous for the applicants, and when they are eventually hired, they also expose their employees data to these third party site.
I just checked my email, a former client who does that, the third party they are using, are STILL sending me solicitation emails.
That’s why, have a specific email for a specific use, or specific company. So if it your email gets compromised, you know WHO sold your data.
It’s like whack-a-mole
I learned of that “patented” program that does that. That’s why it’s tough for people with compromised email addresses to switch to the next, because of those types of trackers.
So, your test post will auto expire?
We can passively test that. I set it up supposedly to not display, when it expires. So what should display is “no jobs available” by tomorrow. Or something like that.
I also set the applicant’s details on the website to be automatically deleted after 1 month in order to protect applicant data (data submitted on the Job Application Page plus resume). The HR person should have the applicant’s details anyway, as sent via the application workflow. There is also an option to “Force Delete” all Applications.
