  1. And the problem or issue I see on using the WP comments is almost EVERYTHING is moderated. At least on your forum, after 5 posts, it’s gone.

  2. Yes, a lot of email clean up too. But admins can do that quickly. Just keeping the site secure.

  3. FYI, I knocked out about a little more than a thousand out of the 8000+ emails.

I also found the proof I needed, for when “that org” exposed my “Private Health Information” (and the other consultants like me) when they put my HR data and shared it with another outside organization and that that other outside organization kept on reaching out to me.

I WARNED that “extra organization” that they were NOT being HIPAA compliant, because they got my personal details WITHOUT MY EXPRESS CONSENT, and I TOLD them to STOP contacting me. I told them I am an Informatician and that I KNEW what they were doing. (Typical of third parties who gain access to a BIG corporations employee HR data).

Same thing happens – when a supposed “Charity” or :Church” outsources “parts” of their ministry (like them outsourcing to external companies that handle H.R., or Payroll, or Benefits, 401 K, Pensions, Defined Contributions, Donors get put into like a “suckers list” and then sold and then you get spammed or mailed so much advertisement afterwards for “donations”.

We are all getting profiled by these “Data Brokers” and trackers. Big Tech. Well, we have a Much BIGGER GOD. 🙂

We just type out the truth that we know.

If you ever get victimized, don’t shut up.

Shed light, and darkness disappears. Teach people what to look for. And How.

Business Credit Cards getting fraudulently charged, and how many times do I have to change my credit cards?

I will just keep on reporting, and whoever is doing all this attacking – I am amazed how you can keep on trying to fraudulently make charges and steal people’s credit card information.

God said “Thou shall not steal.” Period.

    You won’t win versus God.

I will keep on publishing. 🙂

    1. The snoopathon that happened to you the first time, when your old phone sam sing an d r oid camera got hacked – it was when u got recruited to join that organization remember when all sort of weirdness started happening to your “privacy”. Even your network got hacked, then you got doxxed, your perpetually targeted, and now you’re just having all these email tech trails too. It’s easy to figure out. After you notice what kind of wolves some people actually are.

You must be doing something SO right!

  4. Also, another tip, if you are ever in Japan, Philippines, make sure you use like a “throw-away” email. Because once companies get your email address, you won’t be able to unsubscribe. When I was in Japan in 2018, I was in Narita and they required me to give them my email upon check in at the hotel. The email I gave them is still getting bombarded by Japanese type of newsletters and advertisements that i can never unsubscribe to. So, have a separate travel email.

    1. Switch emails then delete the compromised email from your servers. Lettem bounce back!

I also noticed that your FB specific email that got compromised – they are generating “undeliverable mail” auto responses. Someone is using that old one as a “from” – i know you never use that account for outgoing mail. Might be better to delete it completely so your hacker can get bounce backs too.

  5. The “unsubscribe link at the bottom of emails is only here in the U.S. I think because of the “Can Spam act” which makes it a requirement.

One lesson I also learned about “Outsourcing” work overseas, they don’t give “weight” to “Confidentiality Agreements” that much, because I’ve also had many experiences that the very people who cross that line, are the very ones you initially trusted. So I always advise that if a Small Business (or Big Business) is in the U.S., to make sure they hire ALSO, U.S. Based employees, so that they are also governed by the same laws on Confidentiality. I’ve learned of other people “outsourcing” because it’s “cheaper”. And then when their website gets hacked, they wonder.

So, that’s something to think about. Hire local. Or at least U.S. Based.

  6. I also trashed about maybe 5 emails that all said that I have a $5,000,000,000.00 donated to me and that I just need to give them my bank account number so they can wire transfer the money! LOL! I remember that guy who made that his mission in life, to, respond to those types of emails! So that these fraudsters won’t be able to victimize others anymore. I embedded that in one of the other portals.

Hold on a sec, I’ll embed it here too. 🙂

  7. I just checked the embedded YT video. The useful videos with millions of views got taken down!

See, that’s why you just have to have your own website, where you can publish your own videos. All the censorship going in is just NOT funny anymore.

    1. Yes. We have to remind people to think. Not be told what to think.

  8. Another thing I abhor, yes, ABHOR, is when church people try to find you on social media, and then share your “church specific email” and load it up on social media to try and “friend” you, or load up your mobile phone number on social media. The number of one’s “connections” on social media is not a measure of who a person is.

I’ve learned that when I went into Social Media marketing as a personal experiment. I didn’t like it because it can be hacked or shut down, and you have no say. Also, not such a wise idea if you have stalkers. Or if you’re afraid of your stalkers. (I’m no longer afraid).

Imagine creating videos or a big following on YT for example, and then your channel gets shutdown. How much time and resources have you wasted? And then, if you embedded your videos to websites, then your site would look broken too.

The number of “Followers” is all about “perception” on social media. Whatever floats your boat.

I mean, if one knows my phone, they can as easily just call me via Signal App.

So for businesses, just open those comments section, or open a forum. 🙂

  9. I removed about another thousand from the group emailbox. (I love my personal email, it only has about 200 🙂 VIP emails).

  10. I can also suggest, all of your SAP newsletters, they send out way too much too. And your airline memberships. If you’re not using those Tw itter or F B accounts, can’t you just turn off the notifications? They all send too much it’s a waste of server space and also when we clean up, takes time.. FB is even making “friend suggestions” for you or “join a group for you” as if they already got people all figured out.

  11. Some of those newsletters I have NO idea how they got my email. So I will not “unsubscribe” to lists I didn’t opt in to begin with.

It’s a fraudsters tactic, those autoresponders have “trackers” on them, they know if the email is opened, clicked, how many times, opened, etc. (I’ve tweaked autoresponder email software before, an opensource one, you can look at the source codes and learn a lot – and so you can also be careful when you know how emails are abused). It’s actually sad that people aren’t more informed about it.

So I share what I know.

  12. Red all of the above ^ . Thank you for the tips and things to think about and consider.

    (Red means we read it!)

  13. Suggestion: remove our URL from our profile so that on the Recent Post or Recent Comments, when u click the Username, it throws me off always as it goes to our homepage.

  14. Another observation, when you started posting your research papers here too at this portal was also when I noticed the a l e x a ranking tanked. I mean with what happened to Par l er and A W S , well A m azon owns A le xa . Since they did what they did, we can also quit using their tool bar.

  15. The toolbar is all just but another tracker of big tech. I did your suggestion on “anti-virus software”. Most ISP already provide that too. Why pay double.

  16. I again activated this – “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”

Text me when you want me to check the site again.

  17. FYI – I know we all are also Moodle Admins – don’t update. Because …

    “Next steps for Moodle Administrators

If you have not upgraded your Moodle site to 3.9.5 or 3.10.2 yet, please avoid upgrading until we have released the fixed versions (Moodle 3.9.6 and 3.10.3), so that you remain unaffected by this bug.

If you have already upgraded to one of the affected versions, we apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused. We will provide further updates as we progress with the solution to recover any potentially affected events.” – Moodle HQ

  18. MOD, i removed this temporarily from F CSS – put it back after you’ve updated it to the URL of your choice.

I think we initially decided to add our URL here because it just looks like a “word”. i can make ot “bold via CSS and color the username too. If it doesn’t look ok. I’m doing this from my phone.

    .wpf-field-type-url.wpf-field-name-site {
    display: none !important;
    }

    1. I put it back. I removed my URL. I’m just typing here what you said.

      – Create a post (any user with Author permissions up to Admin permissions).

      – The comments will automatically go to an Author page, which would include all the Posts you’ve published.

      – Default blank one is okay. Just to trigger the Author Link.

CW – I also removed ALL URLs from Core User Profiles since they all post to homepage. It’s better to not even have the URL on the comments. Name & Email should be fine.

  19. Thanks for all your inputs, suggestions. I appreciate it!

While this site has been “cryptic” – it’s a repository for little code snippets and thoughts.

Mod, I’ve been getting offers. So depending on which one fits, and if the company expectations align with what I can do, without me having to compromise my beliefs, then I go. If project based, then it will be good too.

The SH site and CLG site will always be “up” – there’s always weekends or evenings to fellowship.

One thing great with remote work is for as long as you login, everything is timestamped, and you are able to complete your deliverables, everything is fine. 40 hour workweek plus overtime. I never will go back to “salaried” because that’s how SME’s get abused and end up with no work life balance and health suffers.

    Scope creep is creepy.

    And I hate creeps. 🙂

Employees / Contractors are partners. 40 hour workweek.

If they require more than 40 hours – then they need to pay overtime. Fairness.

Dev asked if I was not worried about recruiters or hiring managers reading all these here and at CLG.

    It’s WYSIWYG. 🙂

There are certain industries I will NEVER do tech work for. Them reading my verbal diarrhea out here will give them an idea of who I am, and so we don’t waste each other’s time. 🙂

VA forwarded the relevant interesting emails to my CTO, there were a couple. So we will see.

I will keep my eyes open for you guys too. Thanks for all your help! 🙂

P.S. i made blank Session Dates until Friday, make sure you post comments under the specific dates. 🙂
