#Email Notification for Commenter when someone responds. Enable or Disable.

Now is about a good time to hash tag stuff that’s been discussed and completed. (So it can be searched by our own website search engine).
Because information is useless if you cannot easily retrieve it.
Test the Web Support Email.
Nice! Testing the “Notify me via e-mail if anyone answers my comment.” below the Comment Box.
Me too. Testing. Earlier I “unchecked the box” now leaving it checked. Your comments earlier went into moderation.
I didn’t get any email notifications, but I am wondering if the “5 minute edit time” is conflicting with the code. Let’s see.
I got an email since I am Thread One, when you hit the “Reply” under my specific comment, I got this message:
“Hi Consultant,

I set it at default – to Notify via email You can always uncheck it, before clicking the “Post Comment” button.
Also I changed the From email address (from the WP auto email), so see what displays on your email.
Testing your reply. (to see if I get notified)
On Lines Two lines 336, and 363., I changed the verbiage FROM
“Notify me via e-mail if anyone answers my comment.”
TO
“Notify me via e-mail if anyone responds to my comment.”
Yes, because “answers” should be to a “question”?
Can we test how many emails get sent per thread?
I am getting all moderated.
Since we only set the Thread levels to 2 … well, we will see. This comment should be in response to you.
The “moderation” is something that can get worrisome too, since it triggers so much auto email to the Admin, to “moderate”
I set the thread levels to 3. We test this Thread here.
Test notification to level 2.
Reply to you thread level 3.
Can we check on phones? I remember we did similar testing before for another software, and it indents too much on smaller screens, that was why we reverted back to my WP Theme, I set thread levels at 2. However, if we want the commenter / s to get notified per comment thread, 3 displays ANOTHER “Reply button” directly under the “responder”.
3 looks okay.
Looks ok to me too. We leave it at 3.
I am unchecking the “Notify me via e-mail if anyone responds to my comment.” . Maybe we should disable it FOR NOW, while we are still on Tech Mode, and it’s still not open to others anyway.
