If we say YES to everyone, we are in effect saying NO to what we truly want to be doing.
Tech Projects should be “sustainable”.
If clients pay for a service, there has to be a point person in their company who can take on what a developer or consultant has built for them. They’re not just paying for the platform itself. they are also paying for the additional training so that they can maintain their own websites or portals as well, so they are not dependent on outside developers.

Companies utilize their “Social Media” accounts to feel “connected” to their customers or others.
What is “Social Media” anyway? It’s one giant FORUM.
You can have your own forum on your own website. For those who use your website. You have Ama zon for example, they have “forums” – E bay ALSO has their own forum.
While it is good to have your own account on those Social Media companies, it is not useful for you because most times, you can’t even see nor know who it is you are interacting with. Troll farms seem to have conquered a whole lot of these sites, if you are based in the U.S., you might be arguing with someone that you think is also in the U.S., but are actually in another country.
If you have your own website, you can customize it so that only people from a certain location can see your website, or can join your website.
It is more important in this day and age of obvious censorship to be able to have a place where you can publish whatever you need to.
