Some major life drama took place last Friday afternoon, then evening.
Too much adrenaline / stress wreaks havoc to one’s adrenal glands …. too much cortisol to be processing. So I figured, I will “listen” to my physical body and “meditate” on what I have accomplished thus far last weekend. Saturday, Sunday.
Looking at the Session dates … lemme look back …
When I basically restarted the better recordings … December 4, 2021 Saturday. But noted what I was doing on this post:
… and kept at it, when I could weeknights and weekends non-stop. 14 days.
Matthew – 151 recordings
Mark – 94 recordings
Luke – 82 recordings, thus far..
327 recordings / 14 weeknights = 23 recordings/ per night.
I noticed my voice was getting super “croaky” too. So rested some.
All these deaths within the past 12 months got me thinking about people’s “end of life” are we ready for eternity? Then there is that reality about those left behind. Then I looked at the cost of dying. Then I clicked a youtube link.
Then there went my Saturday and Sunday. I caught up on NOT taking ANY breaks for 14 days. 🙂
That beat watching the news that has that effect of “really”? Who knows anymore what’s going on truly? Watching MSM just makes people, or me, feel “helpless”, frustrated, angry.
I’ve always felt “led” to go to that online church, too. So I do and share verses, and then get “attacked” for sharing too many verses. LOL! I also got some feedback about what some “holier than thou” people think about me when I share those verses, especially when the video sermon is saying something that I know is doctrinally, not sound. It’s those “ear-tickling” teachings that is so misleading and borderline deceptive. So, I don’t have to argue on that, I just post the exact scriptures so people with eyes to “SEE” can see, and maybe they can check out their bibles and study the Word themselves too, while at it. So my friend is right about what he said that a Believer can go to places like that feeling “full” and then leave “empty and angry” afterwards, so better not go, when that happens.
I feel bad that I have advocated for them to create a way for the D/deaf community to be able to participate too, but the “Prayer Hosts” can’t seem to discern between those who needs actual help, versus those who are just trolling. A lot of people go there for “socializing” and so they can follow each other in social media. Some people go so far as asking me to join their “lifegroups” or study sessions saying “we can use you for scripture references, since you seem to know more about the bible.” LOL! People look at me like a “tool”. What made that person think I want to be “used”? And then there are those who know I am a techie, to ask me if I can do some tech work for them. Or they want my email or my phone number, so they can contact me any time. So I had to clarify, for tech work, I use a Ticket System. LOL! I don’t do much email anymore, and just use Signal most times.
It’s an “either / or”. I can use my evenings / worknights to go that online church, or I could do more recordings, as my voice allows.
So going back to the Saturday / Sunday, I did some research and development, watching learning. Then also prayed. Been calling some so called “leaders” and figured I would do it two early mornings worth. Whomever would pick up my call. I knew that these people were SUPER busy, so I figured, whomever responds to me would be the team I will be joining for the part time gig. 🙂
THEN, after I thought I’d just drop it, one of the leaders called me back. He said he doesn’t usually call anybody back who is not in his phone contact list but he did for some reason. 🙂
That’s a God thing. I told him I was / am the same way. I let it all go to voicemail, I’m on perpetual DND.
It became like a 20 minute interview, he answered my questions, I answered his, we shared the same thing in common, recent deaths in the family, wanting to help people, and it got cut to the chase – he said yes, he wants people like me who help others too, to be part of his team. I wasn’t sure how the licensing goes, so he said not to worry, the training is going to be there. He then put me on a group chat / messaging with his executive assistant, the hiring manager, the top producer in Texas whom I could also ask for help if I need assistance on the licensing. The Hiring Manager emailed me the onboarding and the pre-licensing requirements. I scheduled the fingerprinting tomorrow and the State Licensing Test on Monday. There is a paid test preparation course bundle, and I started it this afternoon.
There would be other “contracting” with other companies, after I get the license. I told him down the road, I will also want to set up an agency, because I know there are people here in Texas, the community I helped out last year, who could use some “hope” too. But I said I was going to try it first, and do it first, so I can lead by example.
I know about hard work. So doing that would be something for a change, I could help more families that way too.
So December, goal is to finish the Audio Bible App. For all of us needing GOD while in this life, preparing for eternity 🙂
January would be for helping those families left behind. It would be a perfect opportunity to minister and share the gospel too. While “road-warrioring” around Texas.
The NGOs are contacting me too. One of the things I didn’t like was none of them “disclose” to their “volunteers” that they are getting paid by FEMA for each volunteer hour, PLUS people’s donations. One NGO “mandates” to be vaccinated. LOL! Jesus never said “go get vaccinated first before you help others or before you share the gospels”. And they “use” Jesus’ Name.
The president of the company I am joining (or I joined today) just came across to me as a genuine person eager to help others and have the numbers to show for it. He was a former social worker.
I remember my former mentor in online marketing who said “The best way to help the poor is not to be one of them.” It’s true! Money is a “magnifier” of who a person is.
Following Christ is about being content with what you have.
It also means doing the best that you can with your God-given gifts and skills that would bring glory back to Him.
So I am noting this here today. I’ll be doing more recordings tonight 🙂 Will upload them tomorrow night. 🙂
