Licensed Professional Website Demo

We are unpublishing the formerly published webpages, because I am rethinking whether or not to renew my license.

Might be good to refocus my attention back to what I can control.  🙂

Anyway, just a short story, yesterday, I spoke to someone from the Texas Department of Insurance regarding my concerns.  He sent me an email on what to do next.

So, I had to do my Continuing Education 3-hour classroom / classroom equivalent, paid for the course, and then completed and passed the course last night.

Ethics and Law Course.

And I was REALLY flabbergasted about my experiences about that other IMO, the supposed uplines.  I did not know what I did not know.

And then of course, there was a fine, if you missed the renewal period.  $50 per hour, and then a maximum fine of $500.

And of course, that made me re-think some more.

But the Course I took last night was eye-opening.  And I just don’t want to have anything to do with that former IMO.

Anyway, I revamped and re-designed the website below because I had it, and also because I’m skilled in it.

I think I should just “stay in my lane”.  And focus on what I am good at.

Which most people find weird.

And that’s fine.

I can’t control them, but I can control myself, and my reaction to them.

My reaction was “I don’t want to have anything to do with them anymore, period.”

I am wanting to post the screenshots below, because it might help other Licensed Professionals to know how they can build their own website, so they can also generate their own Leads.

“Leads” are the lifeblood of any business.

But having the ethical manner at which you generate your own leads, versus buying a lead that heaven knows have been sold and resold so many times, you get to pick.

I think I will or might, write a post here of the app I made that I personally used to detect that I was getting scammed.

That’s how I quantitatively emailed that IMO that the statistically did not make sense (numbers don’t lie, and when someone tries to argue with an Information Scientist, and we back it up with FACTS, the Truth stand on its own).  They refunded me some of my money, but it WAS the principle behind it.

They should take that “Ethics and Law Course” because it was/is something that IMO should seriously study if they want to still keep on doing business in Texas.

My former client’s beneficiary reaching out to me after 2 years, other “leads” calling me after 2 years, it was just something that made me check my License’s Expiration date.  And I told them I haven’t done it in more than a year, and I thought I’d just let it go because of my own bad experience with the people who were supposed to help me because they will earn from me.

Anyway, that ended on a bad note.  So I think this blog post is also a statement that I think I will no longer renew my license. (See P.S. Below for an update to this post.  🙂 )

I know the pain points of Licensed Professionals, when seemingly, we got and get surrounded by people who are in perpetual pitchfests.

So hopefully, the screenshots would be a “for posterity” too.

I can keep these pages “active” and add “Demo Page” above it, but then again, I don’t want it to appear misleading.  So screenshots will be it for now.

To infinity, and beyond!

Cris

P.S. 09/07/2024 … after reading all the posts, codes and stuff that I unpublished that were “insurance-related” (all those webpages, I did myself – contents, coding, etc), I did a re-think and think and thought again …

And I will write my thoughts on “Why I reinstated my General Lines (Life, Accident, Health and HMO Insurance) License

      1. Here’s the code to quickly embed the screenshots. I’ll put the code below:

CODE: < img src ="WEBSITE PATH AND FILENAME HERE.jpg" alt="" / > (Remove the spaces) between the < and >

      1. I’ve been uploading the screenshots and the system auto-moderated me. I guess I was working too fast. 🙂

      2. Dinner is okay. Break time. Hey you forgot the “Begin Page” Can you add it please? Thanks!

      3. I added numbering and moved the title of the webpages down, so at least it is still in order.

      4. Also, so that we won’t have too deep a layer on the comment threads. This works better. In hindsight, the timestamps on these comments are better so those LPs who want to try to do this on their own websites can have an idea how long it takes to screenshot these pages (and then to take them down later). It took me so much creative energies and tech knowledge to build all those pages. Anyway, dinner time!
