  1. I got permission from the FaithComesByHearing Ministry to use their audio recordings too. WOOHOOOOO!!!!!

I explained to Lynn what I was doing and she said it was okay to use their “better sounding recording” too. I explained I didn’t like my own voice on the recording, it’s better if it was a man’s voice … that I did and completed the coding up of the KJV in the Old and New Testament, a topical version of it, and that I was doing a recording per topic.

Also that I didn’t want to pull audio files from any external website using API calls. She explained that because of copyright, I can also be a part of their Bible Brain developers, etc. but when I mentioned I don’t need all possible audio bibles, just KJV, she said OK, because KJV is in public domain, no copyright issues. 🙂

When she said that the permissions for other ministries, what they usually do is use the API calls, by the members of the Bible Brain group, so that they can make sure that the other copyrighted versions of the bible are not made for sale. So I assured her that CLG is not even a Non-Profit and does not and will not be accepting any donations or solicitations. (unlike other churches or charitable organizations).

I was so happy during the conversation. I just said that I just needed the KJV Non Drama version audio, and I got permission to publish at CLG. WOOOHOOO!!!

    Thank you Jesus!

I find it ironic when one online church does not even divulge that the “bible app” that they use actually comes from “Bible.is” – the Faith Comes by Hearing Ministry.

What can be “seen” is that that other online church, put their “app on a website”, then embedded it into an iframe, put it on a “platform” (another website), then “market as if they are the ones who did the bible – when it is actually a collaboration of many different groups, making available to other churches the many different versions of the bible, in many different languages, with choices of video, audio, and text.

    So what about CLG?

    It’s all housed internally.

So God’s Words in the KJV will not be confusing for people who just want to read the Right Bible. Printed KJV (for the Deaf or Hard of Hearing Community), and the Audio KJV bible (for the visually impaired).

  2. I had to look for software that I can use to edit the files. So … I started with the Book of Mark…

    https://www.christianlifegroups.com/links-to-scripture-by-topic-book-of-mark/

    And …

    https://www.christianlifegroups.com/john-the-baptist-prepares-the-way-mark-11-8-kjv/

    And finished up to:

    https://www.christianlifegroups.com/jesus-cleanses-a-leper-mark-140-45-kjv/

1 file that I had to split into 9 files for the 9 topics on Chapter 1.

It took a while because I was trying to use my old media file software and it kept on glitching out, so I looked for another one I can use that is also open source. 🙂 Download time, learning the software, and then just working it. It should be faster in the next ones.

I started with the book of Mark, and somewhere down the road will replace the recordings in Matthew.
