Like with any other software, there is a learning curve.
If a client is wanting to have an “autoresponder”, and they do a search online of “autoresponders”, you will find that there are MANY software companies that charge you a monthly or yearly subscription.
AND you STILL have to learn how to use their software.
So if you will have
1) the same type of learning curve,
2) subscription to the Software as a Service (SaaS) membership cost
3) your EFFORT at building your own templates and lists will only be available for as long as you continue to be THEIR customer.
So for ALL PRACTICALITY’s sake:
1) Do the learning curve and learn how to install your own autoresponder on your own website.
2) The cost you will incur only is for the Lifetime Membership of about $150 for the software. I’ve had this software since 2017, so I’ve already saved Minimum of $25 X 12 months = $300 x 5 years = $1500 thus far.
Why am I noting this NOW?
Because there are a lot of affiliates selling Autoresponder SaaS, that cost somewhere in between $97/month, or $297/month, or $2,000+/month …. FOR AN AUTO-RESPONDER!
There are a LOT of hyped up testimonials on it, and ONE has to really reconsider and ask the question …
… if you are selling your product or services online, there are trackers, but what do you do with those trackers?
If you put your name from the “FROM” email address, and SOMEONE ELSE can see all your metrics (they can because it’s housed on THEIR website, not YOURS), how would your customers feel? Those who have trusted you with their email addresses and purchases?
So HOUSE everything from within your website, and webhost servers. 🙂
I have just completed the INTERNAL Autoresponder / Mailing List Subscription software at ShallHelp.
Take a look and subscribe!
Here’s how it looks like:
It’s handy to know PERL, Linux, php, HTML, CSS and Cron … it’s all a mix so I started doing that yesterday and now it’s done. 🙂
