  1. ShallHelp Chat Forum : Welcome to the Chat Forum! Chat sessions are automatically erased every 60 minutes. Just select the REFRESH link above to go to the latest chat session. We are glad you are here!
    SysAdmin : CW, You here?
SysAdmin : The chat icon on CLG needs to open in a new tab, like here at SH.

  2. Ok. Done. Let’s just use the comment section, and then just “ring the bell” at the chat so we can refresh here for the session.

Also, I shared the forum access page to some ONE, ok? So don’t change the password to that page yet. 🙂

Can you help migrate the old tech articles here too? Once the tech forum post is moved here, just leave the “topic page” blank, and then do a link back to where it is here at SH.

That way we don’t 404 on a lot of old articles. Bad for SEO, if they ever crawl the de-indexed sites again.

Also, I thought about using the dot org, to try and see if it triggers any new indexing. On the xml that I did before, I remember scheduling the crawl to every 3 days or so, since we were putting new content daily. It is close to impossible to have this much activity of new daily content to not even trigger getting indexed. Yup the software engineer at goo g l e was telling the truth about censorship. Sad.

  3. You comment was in moderation queue. I checked the discussion settings, the manual approval is disabled. What’s causing that?

  4. It goes through spam check, and also we have that setup here where the commenter has 5 minutes to edit his/her comment. But if you click the comment icon on the backend, you’ll see all comments when you refresh the page. It appears on the front end after 5 minutes, but on the backend, it shows immediately.

Also, when the comment is “edited” it also goes to moderation queue

  5. Of course not. I password protected the page since we were still moving articles around.

The articles that remain are useful, even for me. 🙂

There would be no need for that since I closed the registration to the forum. From my tests yesterday, there really are actual benefits to having the forum.

The danger is for non Christians to register and then start spamming the site.

  6. Changing Forum wide announcement FROM THIS

ANNOUNCEMENT: The New Testament and the Old Testament has been completed on the website! Yay! The Top Menu leads to the Index of each Book, as arranged by Topics. Much easier to study, quote, and share! 🙂 No apps to download! No trackers!

For the Forum: We are rearranging forum topics, and adding new ones, under “Groups”. (Still a work in progress.) I will announce here the schedule when we open the Forum Registration, so Admins can be on standby to make sure everything goes smoothly! (Like no Forum Spam Registrations) Come back soon! 🙂 – CrisW

  7. CHANGE TO THIS:

ANNOUNCEMENT: The New Testament and the Old Testament has been completed on the website! Yay! The Top Menu leads to the Index of each Book, as arranged by Topics. Much easier to study, quote, and share! 🙂 No apps to download! No trackers!

For the Forum: We are rearranging forum topics, and adding new ones, under “Groups”. (Still a work in progress.) Forum Registration is still closed at this time. But feel free to READ THE GOSPELS! 🙂 – CrisW

  8. Also, please help me go through the other tech blurbs at CLG, some comments from other techs are just plain obnoxious. Don’t even allow it to stay published there.

    1. LOL! We can make a Tech User Group there, so we can move everything here.

  9. You know, as it is, AFTER I read some of the old articles I wrote, they were angry. Because I was ANGRY while I was writing those. While it was good for me to vent, and let it out, I would have to also re-read it again, to see if it would actually be helpful to someone else who will be reading it.

I would be understood, (that I was angry) but it is more important, that THE WORD which clarified things for me, be the HIGHLIGHT and not my exasperation. If that is even making sense.

So, I thought that for the “group topics”, we can use the Bible Study account, to point the issue (example, anger) to exact scriptures (on anger).

That would make ME OUT of the equation. On the CLG Forum.

Then I can just vent all I want on THIS SH site. 🙂
