At CLG cleaning up, updating, the Terms of Use / Privacy Policy / DMCA pages.
I don’t think a DMCA page is needed at CLG. Those templates were from the other websites I developed which required such a page (for those submitting art work, etc). And I just tweaked it accordingly.
If I’m deactivating the forum for good at CLG, then we wouldn’t need the Forum Privacy page. The forum, once activated, has the forum privacy page automatically displayed for the new registration.
I shortened the page titles and links and left the following:
Terms | Privacy | Credits | CMS by WordPress | Theme Simplified by CW | Copyright
I am “still” praying about the “Forum” there. In the mean time, it is still on “private” mode.
The “time flies” page should explain a little bit on the story of the site and kind of who is behind it. While I know I wanted to take ME out of there, WordPress defaults of course on naming the developer, on ALL WP themes. So there’s that. 🙂
Also, that needs to be published because for those wondering about the WP cookies, or the WP emails they receive from the site, those who know about WP would understand why the WordPress cookies are there. It’s not a third party cookie per se but it is the CMS (Content Management System) we use.
I just noticed too, that some of the articles I’ve written were “angry” 🙂 I don’t know if I can change the “tone” of what was to me, my own human reaction, while I was writing those articles.
While my “anger” has subsided (upon discovery of whatever it was), it led me to the Truth. And so I wonder, how many people, like me, are actually out there, looking for the things I was also looking for? And have already found?
So, that’s what I am praying for. The forum was, in my mind, back then, a place where people can share “their walk” to hopefully also lead others and point people directly to Scripture, so that they are also not misled.
I know I am not a bible scholar, nor a pastor wannabe, (From scripture, I know that it must be MEN who should be tasked to preach, women can have :supporting or administrative roles). 🙂 So I will pray that a godly Man of God can join the forum when I pray about the direction of that portal. 🙂
“13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore we also speak, 14 knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God. 16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. 17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” Paul’s Apostolic Ministry – (2 Corinthians 4:1-18)
