So for AGDT, are we ALSO removing the Forum there? And put all tech stuff here? I mean the ones we removed from CLG when we were first test driving the forum at CLG). I think that would be a good thing so we are only “securing” one forum instead of way too many.
AGDT is easy. (I put it on under maintenance since people can always Signal App me directly). 20,000+ enemy spammers is pointless. Let them get tired for a bit attempting to hack into AGDT. After I’ve done my bible data cleanup – I will post bible verses there too! LOL!
I can move those old tech code snippets from AGDT since we already transferred some. That’s going to be easy.
The herculean one is the CLG migration.
Sys put them all now on archive. I’m reading through them one article at a time to see which ones we can still use (code-snippet-wise) 🙂
Recycling is good. Ok see you at church! (Go there!)
Also I checked from my phone, CLG looks great!
Noticed the you password protected the Forum, that’s a great move too! (So you are not distracted when you are still working (and praying) for design changes).
Amen!
Thanks for sharing those church sites and their sermons. You’re right about watching full screen because it’s easy to get embroiled in those live chatters.
You’re welcome. Go there again! Help spread bible verses!
Tech break for me. Heading to praise & worship! Yay!
Ok, I’m back from two websites.
One website was great. As usual. Check their schedules too, for the replay.
The other website, was … ummm, I had to wait 30 minutes of a mix of praise songs, plus app commercials, before the message actually began. Then it lasted about 40 minutes before it all got auto-refreshed without warning, LOL!
I think that the best way to attend the second website, for next time, is to add 30 minutes to the actual schedule of service, and then go there at that time to save you the commercials.
I think, like the first week of that series, if you go full screen, you will watch the full sermon and get to the message and scripture that the pastor is trying to teach.
One thing with the Sermons that are recorded, when you replay it, you actually will catch good messages that you missed the first time. So I’m just setting expectations so that I won’t get mocked for inviting people to go to those two websites.
Everyone is doing their best to bring the Gospel out. Different styles! \o/
Last week’s message was about forgiveness.
This week is about being true to yourself and with others.
Going back to CLG. now.
I’ll back up the original homepage. I was praying about design and got some ideas. Will take screenshots when I am done.
That might take a while. 🙂
Yes, I need prayer. I feel bad for that person asking for help. I tried to help but it seems like the others there could not “see” that person. Next time, I will post a link in that website to invite that hearing impaired person to join us, he/she struck me as really needing to “HEAR” the sermon, only he/she is hearing impaired and there are no Closed Captions in the Video sermon.
The “eagerness” of that person to hear, “he/she” was telling people to “no talk just cris word” because I was typing what I was hearing the pastor say. I suggested that to the earlier pastor, I mean, they obviously prepare for those video sermons. It might also be helpful for the hearing impaired to also have the chance to “see the words”, since they can’t hear because they are deaf.
One lady even sadly typed “someone is obviously trolling”.
So I asked if the person was still there. She/he was. Really needing some encouraging words and scripture so I gave it. Because I noticed that person.
“No word man please word”
So I started copying the scripture that the pastor was talking about.
That person was reaching out to the online world, he/she is hearing impaired / deaf, and typed the words below:
“Happy no sad mom dad no talk learn me hear sad no want live”
“Mom dad no want happy no learn no talk me”
Please pray for that person too. 🙂 I feel so bad and sad for that person, then the chat in that church autorefreshed. 🙁 I pray they reach out to that person, because they can see that person’s email address, if that person was registered on their site.
Data clean up is not fun …..
Still designing new Home Page for CLG.
And so far it looks like this:
