  1. The following was also completed (on the Main Site)

    8/25/20
    1 Kings 1:1-4 to 1 Kings 17:1-7

    8/28/20
    1 Kings 17:8-16 to 1 Kings 21:17-24

It’s not on the Top Menu yet, as the entire Book is not completed yet. I will add it once Books 1 and 2 are completed.

I also added these on the specific date’s comments (for timestamping purposes). We will total all the actual hours spent on the app completion, from start to finish, as it was spread over all these 2 year period.

    1. Put the exact page where you saw the broken links on the To Do List Page, under Pending Category, so any one of us can knock it out & fix.

    1. On the Backend, just open one tab for the “Comments” you should be able to see it as soon as it’s posted. Also, I enabled the widget at the bottom of each page, if you refresh the page you’d see the published comments. It works like the “Recent Posts” that we have on the Forum for latest messages posted. I’m still working on the backend, going fronm SH and CLG. I’ll enable it here when I’m finished. I’ll Signal App you.

    2. We have to change permission levels to see what a specific user-group can see and do on the backend. I’ll up the level.

  2. Also, on Explorer, on the CLG front page, the floating chat widget gets “under” the scroll area. But on the Forum it’s okay.

    1. Yes, I noticed. When I designed the front page with the slides, (because I replaced the old big picture), it included a script. There are three different scripts going on in that module / area. (floating chat icon, GDPR modal, and the smiley icon at the bottom). With all these different WP updates, it appears that EVERY update of anything (WP or plugins) conflicts with the code snippets I hard coded.

I’ll look into it when done with the Text Parts & Editing. I might have to also just simplify the Front Page. But that would take a while. That’s why I always put the extra chat icon (and other icons) on the footer. Internet Explorer, drops the “margins” and the “width” on webpages, so I’ve got to remember to develop the new design on IE. Because if it looks okay on IE, then it would be ok in other browsers.

Can you start a “To Do” post? There’s way too many moving parts in both CLG and SH, so we all don’t get overwhelmed with what to do FIRST. Thanks!

    1. LOL! Fret not. I see it and approve it quick too! Imagine me getting moderated and then having to moderate and approve myself!

  3. Let’s go to CLG just keep our tech blurb here.
    Just leave one tab open.
I activated the chat so just type “test”, so we can both hear the “message bell: to check back & refresh page here.
It’s easier to just leave a comment here than type on chat and copy paste the chat session here in fear of it getting autoerased.

  4. Also if we are to not use the Forum, also add the login logout to the Menu or somewhere. Currently I see it above this Comment Box. Kinda hidden.

    1. That’s by design. Php hackers bruteforce attempt to login using the default WP login and logout pages. It’s kinda fun putting “honeypots” and then see how their hacking attempts fail. Bwahahaha! 🙂

“No weapon formed against you will prosper.” – TRUST GOD! 🙂

    2. I think we’re only going to move the OT and NT text to the Main Site, (so there’s no other distraction), and then leave the articles on the Blog, with comments open. We can clean up the Forum so that when CW decides to open registration, everything is in place. (updated versions and all).

  5. Finished:

    1 Kings

added link to Top Menu – Links to Scripture

2 Kings finished up to 2 Kings 5:27

    Gehazi’s Greed and Punishment – (2 Kings 5:15-27) KJV

Also added two quick Topics on CLG

Are you in bondage to Debt?

    and

    Faith Healers

Might take me one or two more weeks as I go through each Book and then when there is a “present day” applicability (everything is appicable), but it’s much easier to create topics or posts, so that people can easily share it, and then also get them to read the Bible Stories in its full context.

To GOD be ALL the Glory!  Thanks for the “focus” for today.  🙂 What a blessing 🙂

  6. Took a quick break 🙂

Let’s also experiment on moving all of the tech blurb into 1 or two user accounts (leave 1 admin and 1 registered user), (it will look like 1 is talking to one’s self…. ala monologue).

That might be the fastest and easiest way to migrate the tech blurb & my code snippets out of CLG forum. We can filter them according to what’s applicable to the Main pages, and then just put all the other tech back and forths onto archive and make it private.

It’s unfortunate we can’t retroact the cross-posting from forum to blog.

Also unfortunate that I had to increase the retrieval of older posts from 30 days to 365 and it still won’t be able to retrieve the most important topics as we documented the first couple of forum posts.

Our search at the bottom of the page, depending on which folders I hardcoded to search, can either crawl the main site, or the blog posts. For SH, I keep it at Blog Posts, because I’m still praying about whether to put back the Shop or the MarketPlace. I still get requests for the MP to be re-enabled, but it’s just going to be a real pain in the neck to be creating all the How Tos. and then other developers push updates that mess up what we have already tested.

So I’m still shooting for “simplicity” – Simplified. But more secure.

    Au Revoir!

    1. On the CLG forum it’s also 30 day retrieval for Recent Posts Forum Menu.
