  1. There are three active WP spam plugins at play here, plus the Forum ALSO has an anti-spam functionality. So it goes through 4 possible layers.

My guess is since this portal upgraded to the latest WP 5.5, it has overwritten something.

I’ve checked all the boxes under “Other comment settings”.

“Show comments cookies opt-in checkbox, allowing comment author cookies to be set ” – and SINCE we all are in the business of clearing caches and cookies on our devices as we test the revisions and updates we do on our website development, we can almost expect to be “moderated” most of the time as we are “clearing our browser cookies” as we press that proverbial Control + F5 when we check how our code changes should work as we have programmed it to work.

It happens to us, (and those who periodically clear their cookies) but not necessarily to website visitors. (who don’t clear their cookies on their browsers regularly).

Also it’s not the Forum’s fault (as I see other admins “blame” the plugin for getting moderated). There are “session cookies” set by WP and php, too. That’s why in the forum for the “unread” posts, if you visit the forum on an incognito browser, the session cookies would only last for as long as the incognito browser is open. Once you close it, the cookies will also be erased from the visitor’s device.

When a Forum Admin does “Forum Maintenance” and clicks all the buttons “clear forum cache, or user cache, etc.” – all cookies are also wiped out and the user will see the latest version of the forum.

  2. So, let’s go to CLG. (Double check what I did yesterday and then post your feedback and suggestions here. Thanks!

  3. Finished Psalms 51 to 150 on the CLG Forum.

Will finish the rest of OT on the Forum before we “scrutinize” code to make sure that the typography is accurate. (Like LORD should be LORD, and not Lord. I’ve noticed some “god” are not capitalized as “God” so will have to make sure everything appears as they should. LORD willing. 🙂 Eyes are tired. Don’t want to make any mistakes. Let me know if you notice any mistakes or typos. (Spellings and/or grammar, are from the original KJV version). Also, FYI, “Maschil” are didactic poems and songs. In Psalms 🙂
